In his role the Training Content Creator will design and develop engaging learning content for instructor lead training courses as well as for online, self-learning content) for our employees across the VIS and COM entities. The role works closely with VIS-I, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to convert business requirements into impactful training materials that support ongoing transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop learning content (e-learning, videos, job aids, exercises, FAQs, quick guides) for S/4HANA and other IT solutions, following instructional design best practices
  • Translate business and process requirements into learning objectives and structured training concepts in collaboration with the Training Lead, IT, and business stakeholders
  • Create and maintain learning content and training materials such as end user learning courses, e‑learning modules, videos, interactive exercises, facilitator guides and presentations
  • Design end-to-end learning journeys (classroom, virtual, e‑learning, blended) mainly for SAP S/4HANA and other IT applications aligned with business priorities and competency frameworks
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and Training Key Users to capture knowledge, validate content, and ensure practical relevance for end users
  • Create interactive elements and assessments (quizzes, simulations, scenarios) to reinforce learning and measure knowledge transfer
  • Contribute to community and digital engagement activities (learning communities, forums, best-practice exchanges) and continuously explore new formats (microlearning, video, podcasts, interactive PDFs) to innovate the learning offer
  • Use data and feedback from learners, stakeholders, and LMS reports to keep content up to date and improve quality, user experience, and training effectiveness
  • Manage the end‑to‑end content development process: planning, timelines, review cycles, approvals, and facilitate content review sessions
  • Enable and support others in creating and adapting training content (e.g., local trainers, key users, SMEs)

Ensure all content is well structured, visually appealing, and aligned with corporate standards, branding, and communication guidelines

  • 2–4 years of experience in content creation or training development, ideally in IT or digital transformation environments
  • Proven experience in adult learning and didactics, with the ability to explain complex IT topics in a simple and engaging way
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, or similar), Learning Management Systems (LMS) – any SAP experience especially with S/4HANA is a plus  
  • Experience in instructional design, developing blended learning formats and digital training assets (e-learning, video, microlearning, virtual classrooms)
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional, global teams
  • High attention to detail, strong organization skills, and a structured, solution-oriented working style with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and deliver on time
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret training data and user feedback to refine content
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and storytelling skills; ability to turn complex topics into simple, structured learning content.
  • MS Office knowledge in Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Forms, etc.
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
  • Openness to feedback and continuous improvement mindset
