About this Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Quality Auditor to support the Service Introduction & Quality function within HR Services in Pune. This role is responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and improving the quality and compliance of HR operational transactions, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures, service level agreements, policy controls, and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining audit readiness, reducing defects, identifying process improvement opportunities, and strengthening stakeholder confidence, particularly across high-risk and payroll-impacting HR processes. This opportunity is well suited to individuals with experience in HR quality, audit, compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do

  • Conduct daily quality audits of HR transactions, including both financial and non-financial activities, in accordance with defined sampling methodologies and quality standards.
  • Ensure 100% audit coverage for critical and high-risk transactions while applying risk-based sampling approaches where appropriate.
  • Review transactions against SOPs, process documentation, policy requirements, system validations, and internal controls.
  • Maintain high audit accuracy standards and ensure timely and accurate updates within audit systems and tools, including QuEST.

  • Audit Reporting & Analysis

    • Document audit findings with clear categorisation, supporting evidence, and impact assessment.
    • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify recurring issues, process gaps, and defect trends.
    • Prepare and publish daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports, dashboards, and insights using Excel and Power BI.
    • Monitor rework activities, reversals, escalations, and corrective action plans through to completion.

    Stakeholder & Process Governance

    • Deliver constructive, timely, and actionable audit feedback to operational teams and stakeholders.
    • Support internal audits, SOX reviews, EY assessments, and external audit activities through strong documentation and control management.
    • Collaborate with Operations teams, Subject Matter Experts, and Team Leads to strengthen process compliance and control effectiveness.

    Continuous Improvement

    • Identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation, standardisation, and quality enhancement.
    • Support Training Needs Identification (TNI) activities and contribute to refresher learning programmes based on audit outcomes.
    • Assist with SOP improvements, governance documentation, control reviews, and process enhancement initiatives.

Who you are

Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • 3 to 6+ years of experience in HR Quality, Audit, Compliance, or related operational quality functions.
  • Graduate or Postgraduate qualification. Candidates with HR expertise, MBA (HR), or BE qualifications are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operational processes and quality assurance principles.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and Power Apps.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience in reporting and data analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience performing quality reviews, compliance assessments, and root cause analysis.

Desired Experience

  • Experience supporting business process improvement, value realisation, and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Familiarity with process management and process mining tools such as Signavio, Celonis, or ARIS.
  • Working knowledge of SAP-based platforms including SuccessFactors, Employee Interaction Centre (EIC), and related HR systems.
  • Experience supporting audit governance, risk management, and operational excellence programmes.
