This is a highly analytical and strategic role focused on retention and churn mitigation within the Verizon Business Group. This individual will provide strategic analytical support to the base marketing team, as well as to the migrations program and campaign managers by sharing data insights, deep-dives, and accelerating action plans aligned with marketing opportunities. This role will require developing executive-level presentations and crafting compelling slides to communicate strategies and results. This role will also be responsible for proactively maintaining and updating views that capture performance and impact to targets, driving recommendations for program and campaign optimization and adjustments. Additionally, this role will act as a conduit to adjacent teams including Business Intelligence, Finance, Pricing and Promotions.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and managing recurring analyses, insights, and unique data visualizations to optimize migration programs and campaigns

  • Analyzing migration performance by distilling complex data sets into concise and actionable data insights. This work will be used to further refine marketing campaign strategies to improve retention and mitigate churn. Ability to package fact-based recommendations clearly and “tell a story” with data to leadership is critical for success in this role.

  • Tracking and analyzing the performance of select customer segments and sub-segments while tying performance to overall base trends

  • Serving as a subject matter expert for proactive, recurring, and nuanced insight generation to help dictate the conversation around churn & provide strategic guidance to stakeholders and leadership across Verizon Business Group

  • Acting as a conduit to cross-functional teams, including Business intelligence, Device & Pricing, Finance, and Business Markets to align on goals and strategies 

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Three or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Experience with marketing analytics and driving actionable insights.

  • Experience with data visualization and communicating strategies and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, CRM software, or data visualization platforms like Tableau

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Telecom or subscriber services experience.

  • Experience marketing to Business Markets customers

  • Experience analyzing large datasets to derive actionable insights. 

  • Understanding of direct marketing and Sales best practices across key tactics (Email, Direct Mail, SMS, Digital, Outbound, etc).

  • Experience with pricing, promotions, or finance

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
