Job Summary
The Tax Reporting Manager / Associate Manager will support delivery of accurate, timely and compliant Group tax reporting, including annual and interim reporting and internal management requirements, supporting process documentation, with particular focus on country-by-country reporting. The role works closely with the UK-based Group Tax Reporting team.
Key Responsibilities
• Country-by-country reporting (CBCR)
o Drive the annual CBCR deliverables, inc. act as primary point of contact for information collection and reporting.
o Partner with Group Financial Reporting, Company Secretarial, and Country Tax teams to obtain data inputs as part of an accelerated year-end reporting cycle for CRD IV country-by-country reporting.
o Assist with the build and subsequent operation of CRD IV country-by-country reporting in Workiva.
o Assist with responding to EY queries and allocating EY queries to appropriate stakeholders as part of the CRD IV country-by-country reporting external audit.
o Prepare, test and reconcile BEPS, Australia and EU country-by-country reporting data for filing in Longview.
• Direct Tax Reporting
o Support operation of tax reporting processes, controls, documentation and reconciliations, inc. tax regulatory reporting under CRD IV.
o Support the preparation of tax provisions in accordance with IFRS.
o Support audit queries, ensuring open queries are monitored and closed.
• Tax Risk Reporting
o Support compliance with internal controls and tax governance frameworks.
o Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
o Monitor strong internal controls and governance over tax reporting processes.
o Support auditors, regulatory reviews and inquiries related to Direct Tax Reporting.
o Maintain documentation and audit trails for all deliverables.
• Process Improvement:
o Identify opportunities to improve reporting quality, efficiency and automation.
o Support system enhancements and data improvement initiatives.
o Leverage technology and automation to streamline tax processes.

- Comply with internal controls, tax governance frameworks, and applicable Group, Country, Business and Functional policies and procedures.

• Tax compliance or reporting tools
Qualifications
Qualified accountant or tax professional.
• Experience in corporate tax reporting and provisioning.
• Experience with country-by-country-reporting desirable.
• Experience in a large corporate or multinational environment is desirable.
• Exposure to IFRS tax disclosures and group consolidations is desirable.
• IFRIC 23 / tax risk reporting experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of SOX or similar control environments is desirable.
