Role Overview

We are seeking a highly accomplished and versatile Consultant / Senior Consultant – Program Manager to serve as the operational backbone of key strategic initiatives.

This role demands an elite professional who combines strategic vision with hands-on execution excellence, managing and delivering 20+ concurrent, high impact workstreams. The role requires exceptional communication, precision execution, and the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio & Program Management

  • Lead and execute 20+ cross-functional workstreams simultaneously, ensuring alignment with business strategy
  • Drive large-scale program delivery with measurable outcomes and operational excellence

Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as the single point of accountability and communication for program outcomes
  • Deliver clear, concise, and impactful communication to stakeholders including executive leadership and board members

Execution Excellence

  • Manage end-to-end program lifecycle ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and exceeding quality standards
  • Maintain attention to detail while driving large-scale execution

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate across Engineering, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations
  • Break down silos and enable a high-performance, unified delivery environment

Risk & Change Management

  • Proactively identify risks and dependencies before escalation
  • Develop robust mitigation strategies and manage organizational change effectively

Core Program Management Competencies

  • Strategic Road mapping: Translate vision into structured, outcome-driven execution plans
  • Risk & Dependency Management: Anticipate and mitigate cross-functional dependencies
  • Resource & Capacity Planning: Optimize allocation across competing priorities
  • Financial Management: Manage multi-million-dollar budgets, ROI, and forecasting
  • Governance & PMO Excellence: Establish scalable governance frameworks and standards
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Build executive dashboards and KPIs for performance tracking
  • Change Management: Drive adoption of new processes and systems seamlessly

Required Qualifications & Expertise

Experience

  • 8-12 years of experience in program management, portfolio management, or strategic consulting
  • Strong background in Global Capability Centers (GCCs) with global stakeholder exposure

Program Management Expertise

  • Expertise in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies
  • PMP certification preferred

Communication Skills

  • Exceptional ability to simplify complex problems into actionable insights
  • Strong executive presence with outstanding written and verbal communication

Versatility & Ownership

  • Ability to operate across business, technology, and financial domains
  • Demonstrates extreme ownership, accountability, and delivery under pressure

Educational Qualifications

  • Full-time MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree only from premier institutes such as IIMs or ISB

Location Requirement

  • Must be currently based in Hyderabad
  • No relocation requests will be considered
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in the Hyderabad GCC ecosystem

As a Technology Project Manager you’ll be responsible for delivering value and outcomes. Project Managers are encouraged to have an end-to-end vantage point on delivery, manage dependencies, remove blockers, engage partners, manage financials, improve vendor relationships, and enable an iterative delivery of value. You will need to keep pace with software delivery and organizational change methods and tools. You’ll also need an understanding of relevant Agile/Lean/DevOps tools and techniques.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Drives the End-to-End delivery of expected business outcomes, realization of benefits as outlined in the business case, drives incremental value, drives incremental planning, and drives dependency scope definition. 

  • Responsible for applying secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities. 

  • Responsible for communication, critical issues, visibility, change management guidance to deliver business outcomes. 

  • Key contributor in the facilitation of contract negotiations, statement of work development and vendor oversight toward expected goals. 

  • Drives the prioritization of deliverables, handles moderate to complex issues/risks, governs dependencies. 

  • Is responsible for the delivery of status/health reports to drive value delivery tracking (ex: KPIs), optimizes the flow of value and ensures demand/capacity is handled. 

  • Works with medium to large project/product financials. 

  • Serves as a professional to others around delivering business outcomes, benefit realization, agile delivery, and Lean. 

 

May perform other responsibilities as assigned. 

 

Qualifications & Experience: 

 

Education: 
Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, mathematics, or related field is strongly preferred. 

 

Experience: 
Six or more years of experience in technology or related field. Five years demonstrated proficiency in delivering outcomes/projects. Awareness of emerging technologies and/or industry trends.

Working Hours: 

Aligned to India business hours with flexibility for global collaboration.
