Strategic leadership: Define multi-year vision, strategy, and investment priorities for broad Fundamentals opportunities, connecting customer needs, competitive context, product direction, and engineering capabilities. Portfolio impact: Identify and prioritize the highest-leverage opportunities across products and teams, balancing immediate customer outcomes with durable platform and engineering investments. Product frameworks: Establish shared success metrics, principles, guardrails, and decision frameworks that enable teams to improve product Fundamentals consistently and at scale. Cross-organizational leadership: Lead complex initiatives across engineering, design, research, data science, product, and business teams; create alignment where ownership, requirements, or solutions are initially unclear. Technical and customer insight: Dive deeply into product behavior, telemetry, customer feedback, and system constraints to surface root causes, frame tradeoffs, and guide decisive action. Execution and accountability: Translate strategy into measurable plans, drive critical decisions, manage dependencies and risks, and sustain accountability through delivery and ongoing product health. Executive and partner influence: Communicate complex technical and business concepts clearly to senior leaders and partners, and influence priorities across organizational and geographic boundaries. Organizational capability: Champion investments in tools, platforms, and operating mechanisms that improve visibility, accelerate learning, and prevent regressions across the product lifecycle. IC leadership and culture: Serve as a role model and multiplier for the product management community through mentorship, rigorous product thinking, inclusive collaboration, and high standards of craftsmanship. Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development. OR equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 7+ years of experience in product management, program management, software engineering, or a related technical role. Experience defining strategy and leading complex, cross-functional product or engineering initiatives with organization-wide impact. Demonstrated ability to use data, technical insight, and customer understanding to make decisions in ambiguous problem spaces. Experience working on system software, platforms, devices, or other products that span hardware and software boundaries. Proven track record of shaping product direction and delivering measurable customer outcomes at large scale. Experience creating metrics, engineering systems, or operating mechanisms that drive sustained product improvement across teams. Demonstrated ability to influence senior technical and business leaders and align stakeholders with differing priorities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex topics and motivate action. Solid organizational agility, technical curiosity, customer empathy, and a passion for building inclusive, reliable products.
