Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. ## Broad knowledge and experience in: * Understanding of Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Advanced Analytics concepts. * Developing, supporting, and maintaining ETL/ELT processes using SSIS, Apache NiFi, and cloud-native data integration technologies. * Knowledge of databases, data warehousing, dimensional data modeling, and data governance practices. * Familiarity with cloud-based data engineering platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery. * Experience with workload automation, job scheduling, and monitoring tools such as Active Batch. * Supporting enterprise data pipelines and ensuring data availability, reliability, and performance. * Experience in production support, managing incidents, identifying root causes, and resolving problems. * Knowledge of building APIs and integrating data across multiple applications and platforms. * Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices. * Determining transformation requirements and developing processes to bring structured and unstructured data from source systems into target data models. * Working with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business teams to support data quality, data preparation, and analytical workloads. * Crafting and implementing automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention. ## Above-average skills in: * Delivering L3 production assistance for enterprise data engineering platforms and ETL/ELT pipelines. * Building and assisting SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) packages, covering troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution. * Building and assisting with data ingestion and integration operations through Apache NiFi. * Applying AI-assisted tools to solve and diagnose incidents rapidly, identify root causes, and improve support efficiency. * Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including BigQuery, data ingestion, processing, and analytics. * Experience with enterprise workload automation and scheduling tools, particularly ActiveBatch. * Solid background in SQL, query optimization, data validation, and database performance tuning. * Programming and automation skills using Python. * Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing data pipelines across on-premises and cloud environments. * Data analysis, data quality validation, reconciliation, and operational support. * Root cause investigation, incident handling, and application of lasting corrective measures. * Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaborator management skills in a 24x7 operational support environment.
