As an Engineer Technician, you will play a crucial role in our ambitious projects located at our innovative facility in Hyderabad. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with powerful technology and collaborate with professionals who bring dedication and creativity to the industry! ## Technical Skills * Proven knowledge in HW and SW installation * Experience in Installation & Maintenance of Memory testers like Advantest, Flexstar, Teradyne * Expertise in diagnostic run & calibration: Memory tester, chambers * Proficient with Desktop Support, AD Maintenance, Win Server * Proficient with Linux environments – Cent OS & Ubuntu * Strong understanding of IT infrastructure hierarchy * Skilled in MS Office * Experience with any ticketing system is mandatory * Knowledge of Python * Coordination with vendors for warranty claims, repair, and services * Familiarity with Jira ticketing (not mandatory) * AI awareness and experience in Claude/Copilot and relevant AI tools. Any Ida on Agentic AI is advantageous ## Responsibilities * Attend and resolve assigned tickets * Set up test configurations in the lab as directed by the Engineering team * Ensure delivery within defined SLA * Coordinate with other departments to complete assigned tasks * Handle miscellaneous tasks within the lab * Maintain work and service reports * Track equipment maintenance and calibration schedules * Coordinate with vendors to set up new lab configurations * Ensure the lab aligns with ESD & EHS standards * Prepare monthly reports * Show an eagerness to acquire knowledge of new technologies * Collaborate with different teams to solve challenges * Adjust to and master new technologies and equipment operations * Work in shifts * Exhibit strong communication skills, both written and spoken * Apply analytical skills for technical issue resolution Job Profile(s): Engineering Technician 2 - Equipment Engineer 2 Relocation level: (TBD) Before Getting Started Please review Micron’s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
