POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager to lead AI initiatives across ASIC/SoC development programs at Micron. This role requires end-to-end ownership of AI deployment, measurement, and optimization across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will drive AI adoption, establish metrics frameworks, and coordinate deliverables across the organization while also supporting ASIC architecture team's staging activities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lead and coordinate AI initiatives across ASIC/SoC development programs and cross-functional teams • Define, implement, and maintain systems and metrics to measure AI usage and productivity improvements • Drive AI-related meetings, strategy sessions, and stakeholder alignment across the organization • Publish detailed monthly reports on ASIC-AI achievements across all functional teams • Provide weekly progress updates for AI pillar meetings and leadership reviews • Manage AI skills marketplace and identify common competency gaps across teams • Support ASIC architecture team with required staging activities and deployment planning • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, risk management, and compliance with ASIC development processes • Report regularly to senior management on key milestones, metrics, risks, and mitigation plans • Partner with design leads, technical teams, and peer program managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience: • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field • 12+ years of program/project management experience in semiconductor or related industries • Proven track record in ASIC/SoC design flows and development lifecycle Technical Skills: • Strong proficiency with AI agentic tools and frameworks • Advanced scripting and automation capabilities (Python, Shell, etc.) • Experience with program/project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, etc.) • Proficiency in business intelligence and reporting tools for data visualization and dashboard development • Working knowledge of databases, MCPs (Model Context Protocols), and data modeling • Experience with report automation and metrics tracking systems Professional Skills: • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in defining systems and metrics • Proven track record coordinating across multiple global organizations • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels • Excellent stakeholder management and executive presentation capabilities • Experience in risk management and change management within engineering organizations • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience with AI/ML deployment in semiconductor design environments • Knowledge of semiconductor design /development and validation processes • Track record of driving organizational transformation through technology adoption • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies in engineering contexts This role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of AI adoption in semiconductor design, driving measurable productivity improvements and establishing best practices across a global organization.
