Bring your expertise to a client-facing implementation role where you will drive seamless onboarding, strengthen controls, and grow your career through regional mobility and cross-functional partnership.

As an Associate in Client Onboarding and Services, you will manage end-to-end client onboarding and technical implementation for trade solutions across the Asia Pacific region. You will translate business and product requirements into practical onboarding plans, connectivity setups, and controlled go-live outcomes. You will coordinate across Sales, Product, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Client Service to deliver a transparent, well-governed client experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding and implementation for trade products and digital connectivity solutions across the Asia Pacific region.
  • Own the primary client-facing implementation relationship from solution finalization through testing, go-live, and handover to ongoing support teams.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and implementation workshops to confirm requirements, scope, operating model, connectivity approach, and delivery milestones.
  • Build and maintain implementation plans that define deliverables, dependencies, timelines, owners, risks, and escalation paths.
  • Orchestrate multiple concurrent implementations by applying disciplined governance, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Monitor progress, surface delays or control concerns early, and escalate issues promptly with clear mitigation options.
  • Communicate concise, regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders, including senior leaders, with transparent status and next steps.
  • Architect connectivity solutions using host-to-host connectivity, application programming interfaces, secure file transfer, SWIFT messaging, and front-end trade platforms, aligned to the approved operating model.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications and align across client technology teams and internal partners.
  • Coordinate documentation, account and product setup, entitlements, testing, defect resolution, and production-readiness activities through to completion.
  • Improve onboarding outcomes by contributing to process simplification, automation, data analytics, and reusable templates that enhance quality and turnaround times.

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Demonstrate 6+ years of relevant experience in transaction banking, trade, client onboarding, technical implementation, project management, or financial-services delivery.
  • Apply practical experience implementing trade finance products, digital banking channels, or transaction banking solutions.
  • Understand trade products and associated onboarding, documentation, and operational requirements.
  • Use technical familiarity with one or more of the following: host-to-host connectivity, application programming interfaces, secure file transfer protocols, SWIFT connectivity and messaging, XML or structured file formats, digital trade or transaction banking portals, and user entitlement/channel-access models.
  • Perform effectively in a client-facing implementation, onboarding, project delivery, or service-delivery role.
  • Manage milestones, dependencies, risks, controls, and escalations across parallel deliverables and stakeholders.
  • Translate client requirements into clear functional or technical implementation requirements and execution-ready plans.
  • Solve problems analytically with close attention to detail across documentation, connectivity, testing, and readiness activities.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders in both written and verbal formats.
  • Collaborate independently and within a regional, cross-functional, matrix organization while maintaining strong client focus and personal accountability.

Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes.
  • Create reusable implementation materials, checklists, templates, and best practices to support consistent regional execution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that simplify onboarding steps, reduce manual activity, and improve turnaround times.
  • Share product, technical, and market knowledge across the regional team to strengthen delivery consistency and client outcomes.
