As an Analytics Solution Associate within JPMorganChase Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Finance, you support SEC and Regulatory Reporting analytics for the CCB line of business.s. This individual contributor role partners closely with CCB LOB Controllers, Finance MIS, and Corporate Finance to deliver high-quality data sets, repeatable analytics workflows, and production-ready dashboards aligned to the firmwide Finance/Risk Roadmap. The role requires strong technical execution in Databricks , proven delivery of end-to-end Alteryx solutions, and demonstrated experience building and promoting Tableau reporting products into controlled production environments.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced SQL in Databricks to source, join, and reconcile large-scale finance and risk datasets, with an emphasis on performance tuning and repeatability.
  • Design and deploy end-to-end Alteryx workflows (ingestion, transformation, validation, and automation), including packaging, scheduling/operationalization, documentation, and support readiness for production use.
  • Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and curated reporting views that translate regulatory reporting requirements into consumable management insights, including versioning, release management, and promotion/migration to production under established controls.
  • Translate SEC and Regulatory Reporting needs into scalable data and analytics deliverables, including analytical frameworks supporting regulatory forms such as FR Y-9C and Call Reports, and associated data lineage and control considerations.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, MIS, Data Engineering, and Reporting teams) to ensure data quality, consistent definitions, and strong governance across metrics, hierarchies, and reporting logic.
  • Establish and adhere to operating procedures for dashboard/workflow migration, issue management, and production support, including root-cause analysis for data exceptions and remediation planning.
  • Identify opportunities to improve timeliness, accuracy, and transparency of regulatory reporting analytics through automation, standardization, and simplification of data pipelines and reporting layers.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Work experience with B. Tech/MSc in CS required (or similar degree).
  • 4+ years of professional experience delivering analytics solutions in finance, risk, regulatory reporting, or a comparable data-intensive business environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Databricks with advanced Spark SQL, including complex transformations, optimization strategies, and query troubleshooting in large datasets.
  • Proven experience delivering production-grade Alteryx solutions, including workflow design standards, controls/validation steps, operationalization, and support documentation.
  • Proven experience delivering Tableau dashboards end-to-end, including requirements translation, data layer alignment, KPI definition, testing, and promotion/migration to production.
  • Strong analytical rigor, attention to detail, and ability to reconcile results across multiple sources to support reporting accuracy and explainability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical findings to finance and reporting stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with disciplined execution, strong ownership, and sound judgment.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Working knowledge of SEC and U.S. regulatory reporting concepts and processes, including familiarity with reporting constructs and common finance/regulatory data elements.
  • Experience with data quality controls, reconciliation frameworks, metadata/lineage practices, and operating models aligned to governed reporting environments.
  • Exposure to Snowflake, data engineering concepts, and modern data pipeline patterns supporting enterprise reporting.
  • Experience with Python or similar scripting languages used for data analysis, automation, or validation.
  • Familiarity with financial services products and balance sheet/income statement concepts as they relate to management and regulatory reporting.
