As a Regulatory Controls Lead within Corporate and Investment Banking Middle Office Operations, you own the end-to-end implementation and control of Regulatory Trade Reporting across Global Credit, Rates, and Equities Derivatives. You translate complex, multi-jurisdictional regulatory requirements into sustainable control processes, strategic attestations, and remediation routines aligned with evolving regulatory expectations. You promote continuous enhancements through rigorous business analysis, cost-benefit evaluation, effective stakeholder influence, and disciplined end-of-day control execution.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver new regulatory reporting implementations and ongoing remediation across jurisdictions.
- Interpret regulatory requirements by partnering with Legal, Compliance, industry bodies, and internal stakeholders.
- Establish end-to-end control processes supporting the regulatory reporting agenda across Credit, Rates, and Equities.
- Review and improve control processes to strengthen reporting quality and operational resilience.
- Establish strategic attestation processes for jurisdictions already implemented to the business.
- Recommend process and system enhancements that reduce risk, breaks, and manual effort.
- Partner with Business and Technology to prioritize requirements and build compelling business cases.
- Perform cost-benefit analysis to propose optimal future-state processes and control models.
- Maintain a controlled reporting environment through strong governance, MI, and escalation discipline.
- Complete EOD controls and checks accurately within time-critical deadlines.
- Apply Python to support analytics, control routines, and process improvement opportunities.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Demonstrate strong derivatives product knowledge across Credit, Rates, and Equities with end-to-end trade lifecycle understanding.
- Apply working knowledge of Dodd-Frank CFTC trade reporting and EMIR trade reporting requirements.
- Execute strong business analysis skills to break down complex multi-jurisdiction regulatory requirements.
- Diagnose operational and technical issues with excellent problem-solving and structured remediation.
- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and build strong cross-functional relationships.
- Operate with strong control mindset to identify gaps, prioritize actions, and mitigate operational risk.
- Code in Python to enable analytical workflows, controls monitoring, and reporting automation.

- Hold a degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, STEM, or a related discipline.
