    ROLE DESCRIPTION

    As a Software Eng Asst Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading a team of software engineers to develop and deliver high-quality software solutions for EPKS ICE platform. You will oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget. Your leadership and technical expertise will be essential in driving innovation and maintaining the highest standards of software quality.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead and manage a team of software engineers across multiple locations to ensure the successful execution of software engineering projects development for EPKS Integrated Collaborative Environment (ICE)
    • Manage Development Cost, Schedule / Delivery, Quality & People. Drive Innovation & New initiatives
    • Should work with global GSC teams (project eng) and global engg excellence teams on EPKS ICE roadmaps, features and tools development
    • Deliver Project Engineering Digitization Applications & Tools including adoption to increase the productivity of Process Automation Project Engineers
    • Prepare Statement of Work (SOW) to plan Managed Services deliverables by collaborating with prefmerred suppliers/vendors
    • Stakeholders Engagement, build & review Digitization roadmap, Adopt AI tools usage for better quality and standards
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams such as DevSecOps, Information Development, Cyber Security, Support team to develop & execute project plans
    • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team in solving complex software engineering problems
    • Ensure adherence to quality standards, cyber and regulatory requirements, build & maintain knowledge management
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software engineering processes and efficiency

    YOU MUST HAVE

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Software Technology, Engineering
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in software engineering development
    • Proven experience in leading and managing software development teams
    • Experience with Microsoft Technologies, Dot Net, MS SQL, Angular and Microservices architecture.
    • Understanding of Project Engineering Disciplines, Engineering Domain & Tools like Control, HMI, SCADA, Control Builder (CB), HMI Web Display Builder (HDB), SCADA Quick Data Builder (QDB) & Total Plant Configurator (TPC) etc.
