Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! You procure and maintain the storage of various materials in the Engineering department, ensuring the integrity of their quantity and quality. As an Engineering Storekeeper, you’re not just responsible for the maintenance of storage of various materials in the Engineering department – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

  • Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

    • Inventory Management:  Receive, inspect, and track engineering materials; monitor daily/monthly consumption and conduct stock inventories
    • Documentation:  Maintain accurate records of tool usage, requisitions, and purchase plans
    • Quality & Compliance:  Ensure material quality meets specifications; enforce safety and fire prevention policies
    • Team Collaboration:  Coordinate with departments to optimize material use and reduce waste
    • Regulatory Adherence:  Manage storehouse per departmental standards for safe and accessible storage
    • Procurement Planning:  Assist in developing purchase plans to maintain minimum stock levels
    • Service Delivery:  Fulfill material requests promptly to support engineering operations
    • Problem-Solving:  Identify and resolve stock-related issues to improve efficiency

    In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:

    • Detail-oriented with strong accuracy
    • Knowledge of inventory, procurement, and safety compliance
    • Basic engineering understanding and hotel operations familiarity
    • Proficient in office and computer software
    • Effective communicator and collaborative team player
    • Responsible, proactive, and committed to high standards
