Responsible for fire pumpsroom & maintenance operations in the hotel concerning Fire detection and Fire extinguishing.
Optimum utilization of available manpower including assigning duties, on the job training and performance evaluation.
Keep the superiors informed of all the activities including Breakdowns, fire &unusual events etc.
Monitor on shift, tools& machinery, fire safely panels,pumps etc.
Supervise &assist staff to carry out their jobs.
Liaison with other department in carrying out the aboveduties and assistother department wherever necessary.
Visit otherdepartments for executing Engineering tasks.
Regular inspections of all plant,machinery, pump room,guest floors, publicareas, kitchens.
Carry out duties as specified required from time to time.
Inform immediately his immediate supervisor in case of any hazardor unusual activity in the hotel premises during his duties.
Carry out his entirejob by usingproper personal protective equipment’s according to the nature of job, site conditions etc.
Check and ensure that all firefighting and prevention measure to be taken care of during hot work activity by concerned staff/contractors.
Ensure thatall fire exitsignage, emergency lightsshould be placedproperly in effective manner.
