Global Mobility & Immigration Management
Lead end-to-end immigration processes for employees relocating internationally, including visa applications, renewals, transfers, and ongoing compliance monitoring.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to assess mobility needs and recommend appropriate visa options aligned with business requirements and compliance considerations.
• Coordinate effectively with external immigration counsel and service providers to ensure accurate and timely visa processing.
• Monitor and manage compliance risks associated with the international movement of employees, including tracking visa expiry dates, timely filing of tax returns, and execution of relevant documentation.

2. Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure the organization remains fully compliant with global immigration laws, sponsorship obligations, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration policy changes and assess their impact on business operations and workforce mobility.

3. Mobility Program Management
• Design and execute global mobility policies and procedures related to international assignments and cross-border employment.
• Manage mobility processes including relocation coordination, employee tax filings and relocation services program.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration
• Serve as a key point of contact for HR, recruitment teams, business leaders, and employees on immigration and mobility matters.
• Partner with talent acquisition teams to support the hiring of international talent requiring visa sponsorship.
• Provide clear guidance to stakeholders on immigration processes, timelines, and compliance obligations.

5. Process Improvement & Practical Solutions
• Identify opportunities to streamline immigration and mobility processes while maintaining compliance.
• Deliver practical and efficient solutions to address complex immigration scenarios and support business needs.
• Enhance internal mobility workflows, documentation practices, and communication processes.
• Manage billing and invoicing end-to-end with global providers, including PO creation, cost allocation, and payment approvals.
• Oversee compliance risks related to international employee movement, including tracking visa expiry dates, social security certificate coverage, tax return completion, tax briefings, document signing, approval tracking, and data consents.

Qualifications

  • Experience & Qualifications
    • 6–7+ years of experience leading Immigration and Global Mobility functions/teams.
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent qualification, in a relevant discipline.
    • Demonstrated experience managing global mobility programs (relocations, cross-border assignments, policy implementation) preferred.
    • Additional knowledge of global taxation and experience managing destination and relocation service programs is a significant advantage.
