Business Analysts analyze business processes and develop requirements for projects. Responsibilities include gathering and documenting business needs, conducting analysis, and supporting project implementation. You will work with stakeholders to address business challenges and drive improvements. Strong experience in business analysis and problem-solving skills are required.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Transformation & Strategy
- Lead and drive digital transformation initiatives across Finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A, Treasury).
- Identify automation and optimization opportunities using RPA, AI/ML, ERP transformation, and analytics tools.
- Define and influence digital strategy, transformation roadmap, and business case development.
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients/business leadership.
2. Business Analysis & Solutioning
- Lead end-to-end business analysis lifecycle – requirement gathering, documentation (BRD/FRD), and validation.
- Perform process mapping (AS-IS / TO-BE), gap analysis, and impact assessments.
- Translate business requirements into functional designs and solution frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solution alignment with business goals.
3. Finance Domain Leadership
- Provide deep expertise in:
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Record-to-Report (R2R)
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Drive process excellence, standardization, and governance frameworks.
- Support ERP implementations and enhancements (SAP / Oracle / MS Dynamics / Others).
4. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a primary client interface, managing stakeholder expectations.
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and executive presentations.
- Build strong relationships and act as a trusted transformation partner.
- Influence of decision-making at senior leadership levels.
5. Techno-Functional Delivery
- Work closely with IT teams to support solution design, development, UAT, and deployment.
- Ensure successful implementation of automation and digital tools (RPA, workflow tools, AI solutions).
- Drive Agile delivery where applicable and ensure on-time project execution.
6. Data, Reporting & Value Realization
- Define KPIs, dashboards, and reporting metrics for finance transformation.
- Enable data-driven insights using Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- Track and communicate business value, ROI, and performance improvement metrics.
Mandatory Skills & Competencies
Finance & Accounting Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end F&A processes
- Solid understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, and compliance
Business Analysis
- Expertise in requirement elicitation, process modeling, documentation
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, BPMN, UML
Digital & Technology
- Experience in digital transformation, automation (RPA), ERP transformation
- Understanding of system architecture, integrations, APIs
- Exposure to data analytics & visualization tools
Client-Facing & Consulting
- Strong experience in client engagement and stakeholder management
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
- Strategic thinking with problem-solving and decision-making capability
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA (Finance) / CMA / CPA
- Certifications: CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile/Scrum
- Experience in consulting / shared services / transformation programs
Leadership Expectations (Manager / Senior Manager Level)- Ability to lead teams and mentor junior analysts
- Drive program-level delivery and governance
- Strong ownership of deliverables and client satisfaction
- Manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
Qualifications
Bachelor's/Master's in any stream 5-8 years
