Brief Job Description:

  • Own endtoend fixed asset and project accounting processes
  • Review and approve:
    • Asset additions, transfers, and retirements
    • Capitalization of project costs
    • Manage CIP balances and ensure timely capitalization
  • Perform and review depreciation calculations
  • Lead monthend, quarterend, and yearend close
  • Prepare and review:
    • Fixed asset rollforwards
    • CIP reconciliations
    • Balance sheet schedules
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and SOX controls
  • Address internal and external audit queries
  • Act as escalation point for asset accounting issues
  • Drive process improvement and automation initiatives
  • Obtain clean audit opinion without reported unadjusted differences for areas controllable by Supplier; and no identified errors by the external and internal auditors within listing scope of each stand-alone audit 
  • Promptly respond  to inquiries of various internal and external stakeholders 
  • Support CUSTOMER's efforts to comply with regulations 
  • Ensure adherence to the SLA 
  • Managing/monitoring Staff Accountants & Jr Accountants deliverables
  • Ensure all the activities are completed within due dates specified by CLIENT 
  • Make sure all the documentations are completed 
  • Work closely with team and onsite Team Leads and Managers 
  • Extract and analyze data, and summarize findings, including making recommendations based on findings

    Technical Skill Requirements: 

     

    • 5–8 years of experience in Fixed Assets and Project Accounting
    • Strong exposure to capital projects, CIP, and asset capitalization
    • Advanced MS Excel skills (reconciliations, analysis, schedules)
    • Strong handson experience with ERP Fixed Asset & Project modules
    • Good written and Oral communication skills 
    • Ability to document the process
    • Ability to initiate continuous process improvements
    • Strong accounting knowledge with R2R experience
    • Must be computer literate; Excel, Word, PPT
