This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards and contributes to data quality, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities:Regulatory Compliance & Reporting:
- Prepare and submit statistical reports related to policy, claims, and premium data.
- Ensure timely and accurate submissions to ISO, NCCI, NAIC, and state DOIs.
- Maintain awareness of regulatory changes and ensure reporting compliance.
Data Management & Validation:- Review and validate large datasets for completeness and accuracy.
- Collaborate with IT and actuarial teams to resolve data discrepancies.
- Maintain internal controls and documentation for audit readiness.
Process Optimization:- Identify and implement automation opportunities in reporting workflows.
- Support upgrades to reporting systems and integration of new tools.
Team Collaboration:- Work closely with underwriting, actuarial, compliance, and finance teams.
- Assist in mentoring junior analysts and managing reporting schedules.
Audit & Regulatory Interaction:- Serve as a point of contact for regulatory audits and inquiries.
- Provide documentation and explanations for submitted reports.
Qualifications
- Qualifications:Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
Experience:- 3–5 years in insurance statistical or regulatory reporting.
- Experience with ISO, NCCI, NAIC reporting platforms is a plus.
Soft Skills:- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
