.Net Software Engineer 2-IT

Our IT Software Engineer team turns business requirements into technology solutions by designing, coding and testing/debugging applications, as well as documenting procedures for use and constantly seeking quality improvements.

As a .Net Software Engineer, you will implement features, improve test coverage, and contribute to reliable releases. You will write maintainable code and collaborate with peers to solve integration challenges.

Responsibilities

  • You will:

    • Provide SRE support for .NET-based applications, ensuring reliability, performance, and operational stability.

    • Manage and support a portfolio of 90+ applications within Dell Digital Services, focusing on incident management, application health, and compliance.

    • Drive security, DevOps, and application stability initiatives, including technical support for incidents, vulnerability remediation, and EOL activities.

    • Support applications hosted on PCF and Kubernetes (K8s) platforms across diverse technology stacks, including .NET, Java, Salesforce (SFDC), Oracle, and MongoDB.

    Essential Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft .NET Core development.

    • Strong experience in developing and supporting REST APIs, including use of API testing tools such as Insomnia and SoapUI.

    • Hands-on experience with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and Devin/Windsurf IDE.

    • Experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines (DevOps), and branch/merge processes.

    • Experience working with PCF and KOB infrastructure.

     

    Desirable Requirements

    • Experience supporting end-of-life (EOL) initiatives, including Linux and Windows server migration projects.

    • Proven ability to improve release efficiency through automation, process optimization, and adoption of best practices.
