Java Senior Software Engineer - IT

Responsibilities
You will:
Provide SRE support for Java-based applications, ensuring application stability, reliability, performance, and operational excellence.
Support security, compliance, incident management, and end-of-life (EOL) initiatives across a portfolio of 90+ applications within Dell Digital Services.
Manage and support applications hosted on PCF and KOB platforms, collaborating with development and DevOps teams to maintain platform health.
Troubleshoot and support enterprise applications built on technologies including Java, .NET, Salesforce (SFDC), Oracle, and MongoDB.

Essential Requirements
7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful services.
Experience building scalable and secure backend services, microservices, and integrations with third-party systems.
Strong experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL), including query optimization and performance tuning.
Proven ability to develop clean, maintainable, and testable code, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and participating in code reviews, debugging, and production support.
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps, Git, and Jenkins, ensuring application security, performance, reliability, and operational excellence.
Desirable Requirements
Experience supporting end-of-life (EOL) initiatives, including Linux and Windows server upgrade and migration activities.
Proven track record of improving release efficiency through automation, process standardization, and implementation of best practices.
