Functional Description:
This position is in the Global Commercial Marketing Decision Science Team supporting the Global Commercial Services (GCS) Analytics & Investment Team. The position focuses on developing next-generation decision science solutions for customer acquisition and marketing optimization use cases across Global Commercial Services. Leveraging advanced machine learning techniques, customer analytics, and deep business insights, this role is responsible for driving innovative targeting solutions that improve customer engagement and acquisition outcomes.
As a leader of a high-performing team of technical and data science professionals (team size: 2-3), this role is responsible for advancing customer targeting strategies through predictive modeling, customer profile analytics, and next-generation decision science capabilities. A key focus of the role is the development, enhancement, deployment, and governance of the GCS Real Time P(Click) and P(Convert) model and associated customer-level marketing intelligence capabilities that support MYCA & web PZN acquisition strategies. The role also drives the adoption of advanced analytics and AI-powered solutions to improve targeting precision and marketing effectiveness.
Operating in a highly collaborative environment, this position requires strong partnership with and influence across stakeholders in Global Commercial Services, Marketing, Product, Technology, and Global Decision Science teams.
Responsibilities
• Leverage GenAI and advanced analytics capabilities to generate customer insights, intent signals, and actionable recommendations that enable more personalized and effective marketing strategies.
• Ensure all analytical solutions and models are developed in compliance with enterprise model governance standards, controls, and regulatory requirements established by second and third lines of defense.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, translate business requirements into analytical solutions, and deliver measurable business impact.
• Research, develop, and present innovative analytical approaches, methodologies, and recommendations to diverse stakeholder groups, including senior leadership.
• Drive collaboration across Marketing, Analytics, Product, Technology, and Global Decision Science teams to influence decision-making through data-driven insights and compelling storytelling.
• Lead, engage, and inspire a team of decision science professionals by providing coaching, mentorship, performance management, and career development support.
• Drive modernization and continuous improvement of decision science capabilities, including the adoption of new tools, platforms, and AI-enabled solutions that enhance model scalability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Postgraduate (M.Tech / MBA / M. Stats / MA Economics) with 3+ years of work experience in similar decision science and/or analytics role with financial or related industry
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of highly skilled analysts in developing information-driven solutions for our customers
- Experience working in highly cross-functional environment, flexibility and adaptability to work with tight deadlines and changing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to apply cutting edge statistical techniques to solve business problems
- Ability to understand data, synthesize into real-world meaning, break down business problems, and conduct brainstorming
- Good working knowledge of data mining techniques and open-source machine Learning algorithms
- Relevant statistical analysis/econometric experience required and able to effectively translate analytical findings to business implications
