How will you make an impact in this role?

The Oracle Cloud Analyst for Financial Accounting & Close Transformation is part of Global Finance Operations (GFO), Controllership, Finance. The role is responsible to drive success for AXP Finance transition of Oracle from On Prem to Cloud Infrastructure by supporting the migration of core financial accounting and close processes from on-premises Oracle systems to Oracle Cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Support transition of Oracle from On Prem to Cloud Infrastructure

    • Work with Process Owners, Product Owner, Technology and SI to gather and document business requirements and ensure that the ERP system can meet these needs.

    • Support Fit Gap Analysis, Design, Data migration, System configuration, testing and post go live support.

    • Leverage Oracle Cloud Capabilities to eliminate customizations, enhance controls and drive processes improvements.

    • Ensure timely execution of deliverables, monitor progress against milestones, identify emerging risks, and create dashboards and reports for leadership review..

    • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business partners and other key stakeholders

    • Drive superior discipline in utilizing project management tools to manage all key milestones from project prioritization through all phase of the project lifecycle

    • Collaborate with key stakeholders - Process Owners, Product owner, Technology partners, System Integrator

Qualifications

  • Qualification, Experience and Critical Skills  

    • B.COM/B. Tech/MBA/Postgraduate with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience.

    • Hands on experience in supporting Technology Capabilities (Oracle & specifically Cloud experience is an added advantage ERP (Genral ledger).

    • Good functional knowledge of Finance specifically in the areas of GL accounting.

    • Project & Change management exposure, including establishing new processes.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong customer management experience.

    • Superior attention to details, along with exemplary organizational and problem-solving skills.

    • Must be results-driven and proactive with the ability to manage multiple projects and work within tight timelines.

    • Agile mindset – positive, can-do attitude with the flexibility to adapt
